When you first glance at Dennis you think he’s a Southern California surfer kid. He’s tall, blond and good looking. But when you actually stop and get to know this talented 16 year old out of La Mesa, CA you realize he has something special. In 2007, embarking upon his rookie year as a pro BMX rider, Dennis Enarson has earned the attention and respect of his older and more experienced competitors by winning and being on the podium at the AST Dew Tour events.

Dennis began racing BMX at the age of eight. He later discovered trail riding through friends and found it to be much better suited for him than racing. Dennis was a quick study and has put together a trick list that parallels just about any other rider in the world.

Dennis competes in the disciplines of BMX dirt jump and BMX park in most of the contests he enters. The young rookie surprised everyone by placing third at his first pro contest, the AST Dew Tour Panasonic Open in Baltimore. He then scored a top ten finish at the AST Right Guard Open in Cleveland in July of ‘07. Dennis then went on to win the AST Vans Invitational Dirt Jump in Portland, claiming his first pro win and serving notice that he is for real. Dennis was paid the ultimate respect by receiving a rare invite (only the top ten in the world) to the 2007 X Games BMX Park competition. By the way, Dennis was the youngest competitor riding in the X Games.

This is just the beginning of what is sure to be a stellar career for the young BMX superstar. When Dennis isn’t riding, he enjoys traveling, backyard trails with his friends, and practicing “the perfect back flip.”

I’ve been on the road for over a week now. Just got back from the south of England where our team won the Nike 6.0 Tunnel Jam. It was prolly one of the funnest courses I have ever rode! I’m in Greenvile, North Carolina now staying at Colin Mckays sweet house. He’s been an awesome dude the last couple days showing me around and everything. I head to new York Friday for Banksgiving Jam then Orlando next week for the next stop of the dew tour. After that I get to chill at home for a few weeks. I can’t wait to ride all our local spots again
