Haro Trip!

Last week, the Haro guys did a road trip through California where they visited 4 dealers and 4 skateparks. They had picnics at each of the shops and had ramps for kids to session. This was promoted weeks in advance so each shop knew they were coming and had tons of kids each day. The trip included Nyquist, Enarson, Cooke, Napolitan and others. Camp Woodward – Dew Tour – Moto Crossover and more…

HEY, well sept has been really busy. I have been at Camp Woodward hanging out but had to fly to cali to race dirt bikes in the GOPRO Pala Crossover Event. First moto went well, I got 12th -44. The second moto not so well, I got a top ten start then out of nowhere I got landed on and caused me to highside and crash at high speed. I got rocked and nearly run over by the rest of the field but walked away. Next we had VANS TM Jerry Badders wedding in long beach, it was a beautiful wedding and every thing was perfect,congrats. After that i drove to LA to film a VANS/YO GABBA GABBA commercial for there upcoming shoe. We did a remake of the movie RAD. I had alot of fun riding my bike that day dressed in 1980 bmx gear. Then i jumped on a plane and flew to SLC, we had a BMX/MX crossover team race, fuzzy& Aaron Cooke put on a great event at the 215 moto track. We raced dirt bikes and raced a bmx pump track. My team came in 2nd and everyone walked away healthy …later that week I entered the Dew Tour. I put 2 soild runs in and sat on the bubble for the whole 2nd heat riders but then got bumped to 17th. The Monday after dew tour I signed up for a 2 day street bike school at Miller Raceway with Bestwick and Kagy. I had a blast riding for 2 days and learned a lot about racing on a road track,they also let us rip the Mustangs around for a few hot laps. Back in PA now and switched up my bmx bike, I’ve loved having raw bikes so I stripped my paint for a fresh look. Wow looking back on this month it has been epic, thanks to everyone, check the video for a slideshow i put together,

Winter

Things are starting to pic up for the Rockstar BMX team now that the holidays have came to an end. Winter is a great time in California to ride and many other parts of the World , but it also has many people traveling to find warm weather. Luke Parslow and TJ Ellis have been taking advantage of a good California winter. Corey Nastazio and Colin MacKay are in New Zealand for a dirt comp in Taupo. Nasty will be making his way over to Australia from New Zealand for Cam Whites Jam. Mike Aitken is dealing with a Utah winter and will be heading to California soon to beat the snow and ride for a while. Dennis Enarson is staying on top of an extremely busy schedule filming for the Demolition Video, heading of to Estonia for the Simple Session then off to Malaga Spain to work on another video project.
