Colin Mackay has seen it all and added two more spots to his hit list in 2011 with a Vans trip to Chile’ to visti Coco, and a massive filming session in Virginia for this awesome remix of skatepark, street and trails. BMX for life.

Just under a year ago, BMX filmmaker Mark Losey put the finishing touches on his first full-length documentary, ‘Pro Town: Greenville.’ The 44-minute film portrayed the story of the small college town of Greenville, N.C., and how it morphed into one of the most respected BMX towns in the world. (To date, Greenville’s BMX accolades include 34 professional locals, 22 X Games Gold Medals and countless other contest wins.) The film included current and archival footage and photographs, plus interviews with Dave Mirra, Ryan Nyquist, Colin Mackay, Ryan Guettler, Rob Darden, Allan Cooke, Josh Harrington, and many more.
Following the film’s premiere and DVD release in January of this year, along with praise throughout the BMX community, the film has now made the move to the digital market. Starting today, ‘Pro Town: Greenville’ is now available through the iTunes store and via Wax, an HD streaming service that also features surf films, snowboard films, skate videos and FMX videos. The film is available to rent or buy at both locations, and if you’ve ever been curious about the rise of names such as Dave Mirra and Ryan Nyquist, ‘Pro Town: Greenville’ is your best place to start.

I just got back from a week in Israel! I went for Haro Bikes with Ryan Nyquist and Allan Cooke to do a few demo’s at a trade show in Tel Aviv.
They took us to the holiest city in the world Jerusalem and to the Dead Sea which was pretty insane. For one it’s the lowest place on earth, 1,300 feet below sea level and two is that the water level has 40% salt content and when you go out in the water you float. Really weird.
The shows were good we actually did ten over three days but the crowds were great and were very grateful for us to come to them, most of the people commented saying they had only seen this stuff on TV.
Israel was a great time, the food was good, the people friendly and the weather was spot on.
The Haro team took a trip to across the pond to shred the UK. Check out this video to see what the boys get into. Dennis Enarson, Colin Mackay, Cory Nastazio, Ronnie Napolitan, and Allan Cooke get their grind on indoors and outdoors…with a Guiness thrown in here and there. Here are some photos from the trip also:
