Carlsbad, CA – September 14, 2010 – The 14th Annual TransWorld Ride BMX NORA Cup Awards will be held at The Pearl Theater at The Palms in Las Vegas, Nevada on Thursday, September 23.  For the first time ever, the awards show will be offering special seating for general admission, open to all ages.

“I can’t wait for this year’s TransWorld Ride BMX NORA Cup! The Pearl Theater inside The Palms is the perfect place to honor the best riders in BMX,” said TransWorld Ride BMX Editor in Chief Keith Mulligan.  “Once again we’ve got an insane lineup of legendary presenters sure to make BMX’s biggest night something to remember.”

In the midst of Interbike, North America’s largest international bicycle trade event and show, TransWorld Ride BMX will host its prestigious Number One Rider Awards show honoring BMX’s top pro riders in seven various categories. The winners are determined by polling professional BMXers, and the nominee categories are: Number One Racer, Number One Flatlander, Number One Street Rider, Number One Ramp Rider, Number One Dirt Jumper, Best Video Part, and Video Of The Year.

MTV2 LAUNCHES ROCK N JOCK CONCERT SERIES WITH DEW TOUR

New Concert Series Launches with Breakout Bands Neon Trees and Paper Tongues

Burr Ridge, Ill. – June 17, 2010 – MTV2 and the Dew Tour today announced the MTV2 Rock N Jock Concert Series, a groundbreaking partnership that will provide artists with a 360 degree promotional platform through television, online and live events. Breakout bands, Neon Trees and Paper Tongues, will co-headline the MTV2 Rock N Jock Concert Series this summer at three of the five stops on the 2010 Dew Tour. The musical acts for the remaining two stops will be announced in the coming weeks.

The MTV2 Rock N Jock Concert Series will embark on a multi-city tour, making stops at all five Dew Tour events. Neon Trees and Paper Tongues will be co-headlining at the following events:

Entering its sixth year, the top athletes in the world will take part in the 2010 Dew Tour, all competing for the highly coveted Dew Cup that will be awarded at season’s end to champions in each of the five disciplines, culminating at the Dew Tour Championships at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. The Dew Tour consists of five major, multi-sport events spanning across the country, with a cumulative points system, a $2.5 million competitive purse a bonus pool at year-end based on overall tour standings. The Big Big BMX Show season 3 episode 2 – More BMX Videos

I’m in Shanghai right now at the Asian X Games. I got 2nd/silver medal in vert, right behind Jamie Bestwick by only 1 point. I actually beat him in qualifiers and then was in the lead in the final but slid off an alley oop 540 and ended up 2nd. I’m really happy with the result and happy to get so close to Bestwick.

Dennis Enarson won street last night, beating Garrett Reynolds. It’s been a pretty amazing trip for us Rockstar bmx boys so far.
