HEY, well sept has been really busy. I have been at Camp Woodward hanging out but had to fly to cali to race dirt bikes in the GOPRO Pala Crossover Event. First moto went well, I got 12th -44. The second moto not so well, I got a top ten start then out of nowhere I got landed on and caused me to highside and crash at high speed. I got rocked and nearly run over by the rest of the field but walked away. Next we had VANS TM Jerry Badders wedding in long beach, it was a beautiful wedding and every thing was perfect, congrats. After that i drove to LA to film a VANS/YO GABBA GABBA commercial for there upcoming shoe. We did a remake of the movie RAD. I had alot of fun riding my bike that day dressed in 1980 bmx gear. Then i jumped on a plane and flew to SLC, we had a BMX/MX crossover team race, fuzzy& Aaron Cooke put on a great event at the 215 moto track. We raced dirt bikes and raced a bmx pump track. My team came in 2nd and everyone walked away healthy …later that week I entered the Dew Tour. I put 2 soild runs in and sat on the bubble for the whole 2nd heat riders but then got bumped to 17th. The Monday after dew tour I signed up for a 2 day street bike school at Miller Raceway with Bestwick and Kagy. I had a blast riding for 2 days and learned a lot about racing on a road track, they also let us rip the Mustangs around for a few hot laps. Back in PA now and switched up my bmx bike, I’ve loved having raw bikes so I stripped my paint for a fresh look. Wow looking back on this month it has been epic, thanks to everyone, check the video for a slideshow i put together,

Enarson is Third Athlete to Pull a “Double-Win” in Dew Tour’s History

Salt Lake City, Utah – Sunday, September 19, 2010 – As a follow up to yesterday’s BMX dirt victory, Dennis Enarson of La Mesa, Calif. continued his winning streak in today’s BMX park final at the Toyota Challenge. The last time an athlete has won two disciplines at the same event was with Ryan Nyquist in 2006. Ryan Guettler originally accomplished the same feat in 2005, with all three BMX riders winning both the park and dirt disciplines.

Enarson, 19, threw out his winning run early on in the final with tricks including a flip whip over the spine, an opposite truck driver and a superman seatgrab barspin for a score of 93.25. Defending Dew Cup Champion Garrett Reynolds, age 20 of Toms River, N.J., came in second with a score of 91.25. Venezuela’s Daniel Dhers, 25, came in third with a 90.50, which is enough to keep him in first place in the overall Dew Tour rankings heading into the Championships in Las Vegas.

“I honestly didn’t expect to win both finals,” said Enarson. “I coincidentally rode more dirt jumps recently and I really liked the park course, so it all just came together.”

Dhers, a three-time Dew Cup champion, leads the race for the coveted Dew Cup with a total of 272 points. Reynolds trails close behind with 232 points and Great Britain’s Mark Webb is third in the overall rankings with 212 points.

Over the four-day skateboarding, BMX and freestyle motocross event, 60,576 people experienced the Dew Tour’s Toyota Challenge at EnergySolutions Arena in Salt Lake City, Utah. The Dew Tour will continue on to Las Vegas for the final event of the season – the Dew Tour Championships this October at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino.

DENNIS ENARSON WINS THE DEW TOUR’S BMX DIRT FINAL IN SALT LAKE CITY, ENDING BRETT BANASIEWICZ’S WINNING STREAK

Banasiewicz and Brandon Dosch Separated by a Mere Thirty Points Heading into the Dew Tour Championships in Las Vegas

Salt Lake City, Utah – Saturday, September 18, 2010 – Nineteen-year-old Dennis Enarson of La Mesa, Calif. won the BMX dirt final at the Toyota Challenge in Salt Lake City, landing on the podium for the first time during the 2010 Dew Tour season. This marks Enarson’s first BMX dirt victory since the Dew Tour’s season-closing event in 2008.

Enarson ended 15-year-old Brett Banasiewicz’s winning streak with a run that included a flip whip, barspin tuck no-hander, double whip, no-footed seatgrab bar and a switch double whip for a winning score of 92.94. Brandon Dosch, 21 of Lake Orion, Mich., came in second with a 90.62 and South Bend’s Banasiewicz followed in a close third with a score of 90.44.

“A lot of guys were going really big today and looking to throw never-before-seen tricks,” said Enarson. “I’ve learned that doesn’t really work for me, so I just went out there and really focused on my technique.”

One such athlete looking to go big was Banasiewicz, whose third-place finish was enough to keep him atop the overall Dew Tour rankings with 282 points. Only 30 points behind is Dosh with 252 points, with Enarson trailing just 22 points behind Dosch, accumulating 230 points over the course of the season. With more points on the line at the Dew Tour Championships, the race for the Dew Cup has heated up.

“I think I still have a chance at the Dew Cup, and it’d definitely be crazy to get it,” said Banasiewicz. “Both Dennis and Brandon rode amazing today, so Vegas should be a great competition.”

The four-day skateboarding, BMX and freestyle motocross event will continue today with skateboard park finals and freestyle motocross. Sunday’s events include skateboard vert finals and BMX park finals. The Dew Tour will continue on to Las Vegas for the final event of the season – the Dew Tour Championships this October at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino.
